'Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale' Trailer Premieres Tonight!

All day, Britney Spears is taking over MTV. That takeover includes a trailer for MTV's upcoming special about the pop star, "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale," which will take fans inside Britney's life to see what it's like to release a highly anticipated album.

Before the trailer premieres tonight at 7:58 p.m., teasers will air throughout the day. In the sneak peeks, fans get to see Spears work on the just-released Femme Fatale, including going over final production with will.i.am on their collabo. "I did some tweaking to 'Big Fat Bass,' " the Black Eyed Peas mastermind tells Spears as she gives the song another listen.

While on the way to rehearsals for her pre-album performances — including her set this past Friday at the Palms in Las Vegas, which will be included in "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale" — Spears admits to having some "jitterbugs." It is, after all, her first time back onstage since the Circus Tour.

In another intimate look at the singer's life, fans get to see Spears and her assistant as they go to Starbucks to take a minute for themselves in the hustle-and-bustle of a hectic schedule. "It's nice to have a peaceful moment just to sit down," Spears says. "It's nice to relax before the chaos."

That chaos included getting fans excited for her album release. On top of taking the stage in Vegas for a set full of pyro, shimmering bodysuits and flirty dance moves, Spears also pre-taped today's "Good Morning America" performance in San Francisco's Castro neighborhood. "I totally loved how her bustier was lit up," fan Corina Andrati excitedly told MTV News moments after Spears wrapped her three-song set. "I'm so blessed to be here."

Probe over Lohan 'jewellery theft'

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is facing possible theft charges after police obtained a search warrant to look for a £1,500 stolen necklace at her California home.

But before detectives could search her home near Venice Beach, a freewheeling boardwalk known for its mix of performers, tourist shops and seaside gym, someone who police would not identify handed in the necklace.

Police presented a potential case against the actress on Wednesday night, although prosecutors will not make an immediate decision on whether to pursue charges, district attorney's spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said.

Officer Bruce Borihanh of Los Angeles police said the investigation into the Mean Girls star was for possible grand theft.

The allegations bring more problems for Lohan, 24, who is still on probation for a 2007 drink-driving case and is also being investigated for an alleged assault on a rehab worker in December.

Kamofie & Co, a Venice custom jewellery shop within walking distance of Lohan's home, reported the necklace stolen on January 22, about three weeks after the actress was released from three months of court-ordered rehabilitation at the Betty Ford Centre. The treatment, her fifth rehab session, came after she admitted failing a drug test shortly after being granted early release from another treatment programme.

Regardless of the decision by prosecutors in Los Angeles and Riverside County, where Betty Ford is located, Lohan is due back in court on February 25 for a probation hearing.

Jeff Kaman, the husband of store owner Sofia Kaman confirmed that the necklace involved in the Lohan case was from Kamofie, but declined to comment further.

According to the store's website Kamofie's jewellery has been featured in several celebrity magazines, including a photo of actress Amanda Seyfried in People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful" people issue last year.

Lohan's frequent legal troubles, including lawsuits, two rehab stints and two trips to jail in 2010 alone, have led to the actress appearing more in court than on the big screen in recent years. Her role as porn star Linda Lovelace in a biopic was recast while Lohan was being treated at Betty Ford.

Kardashian Sisters Sued Over Debit Card Debacle

The Kardashian sisters have been sued by a California company that created a prepaid debit card endorsed the reality show starlets.

The Fresno Bee reports that Revenue Resource Group LLC filed suit in Fresno County Superior Court last week against Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.

The sisters pulled out of the endorsement deal in November under criticism over the card's fees.

The company's lawsuit claims they broke their contract and cost company at least $75 million in losses. The sisters' mother, Kris Kardashian Jenner, and their company, Dash Dolls LLC, are also named in the suit.

The sisters cut ties to the card three weeks after the product launched following a warning from Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal that the card's fees were "predatory."

Natalie Portman is pregnant and engaged

ACTRESS Natalie Portman has got engaged and is expecting her first child.

The Israeli-American plans to marry New York City Ballet dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, 32.

They met last year while filming ballet drama The Black Swan, for which she received her third Golden Globe nomination.

Four years ago Star Wars Natalie, 29, she said she would ideally like to raise her children in the Jewish faith.

She said: “A priority for me is definitely that I’d like to raise my kids Jewish, but the ultimate thing is to have someone who is a good person and a partner.”

Millepied, who was born in Bordeaux, France said in June that he was “blown away” by Portman’s acting ability and that she was “amazing to watch”.

But he added that the two of them were trying to keep their relationship private.

He said: “We just want to keep things to ourselves.”

Nicole Richie marks wedding day with elephant surprise

It isn't the most likely of animals to feature in a wedding.

But Nicole Richie clearly wanted to treat her guests to something special when she hired a trained elephant to appear at her wedding.

On Saturday the daughter of music superstar Lionel Richie married Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden in a private ceremony consisting of 130 guests - and an elephant.

Although it is not exactly known in what way the animal contributed, it seems the rest of the day was steeped in tradition.

A source said: "They're going all out with the decor. Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day."

And later that same day, Elizabeth seemingly responded to the news on her Twitter page.

Miley Cirus Caught Smoking From Bong On Video

Earlier Friday (December 10), footage of Miley Cyrus smoking from a bong appeared online. In the clip, Cyrus giggles and talks to an unidentified woman who is filming the teen star. The bong was reportedly filled with salvia, a psychoactive herb that is legal in California.

On Friday afternoon, Cyrus' father, Billy Ray, took to Twitter to express his disappointment over the video. "Sorry guys. I had no idea," he wrote. "Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. I'm so sad. There is much beyond my control right now."

Just hours before he reacted to his daughter's clip, he tweeted about Jesus being on Twitter, seemingly unaware of the scandal that was brewing online. "Oh wow! I'm so excited !!!" he wrote. "I tweeted follow Jesus and He showed up!!! I didn't know He was on twitter!!! I'm following Him ......"

The video was reportedly filmed in Miley Cyrus' L.A.-area home on November 28, just days after she turned 18. "Having a little bit of a bad trip," she laughs in the video, moments after taking a hit from the bong. Cyrus then looks off in the distance and asks, "Is that Liam [Hemsworth]'s lookalike, or what the hell is that? Is that my boyfriend?"

She then spends the next 90 seconds laughing uncontrollably while someone behind the camera asks her to "tell us your thoughts, girl, tell us what's on your mind!" The footage reportedly got out when "someone stole or copied the video from that friend's camera," a source told. A rep for the star has yet to comment on the matter.

Legal experts weighed in, noting that Cyrus is not breaking the law in the video since she was of age and allegedly smoked the substance in a state where salvia is legal. "[The video] might be embarrassing to her, but it does not put her in any legal risk," Keith Stroup, legal counsel at the marijuana advocacy group NORML, told MTV News on Friday. "At the moment, [salvia] is not illegal in California, so even if she walked out on the street and smoked it in front of police, she couldn't be arrested. And the video of her smoking isn't enough to get her in trouble, because there's no proof she wasn't smoking tobacco."

"Salvia is a drug of concern," said Michael Sanders, a spokesperson for the Drug Enforcement Agency. "We are taking steps to look further into it."

'The Tourist' Cheat Sheet: Everything You Need To Know

Angelina Jolie has had a strange way of, in a sense, following Tom Cruise around Hollywood in recent years. First, Cruise parted with "Edwin A. Salt" and Jolie swooped in, switching up the gender of the duplicitous secret agent at the center of the action and prompting filmmakers to rename the flick simply "Salt."

Not long after the duo played a game of cinematic musical chairs, they embarked on another. Cruise had been eyeing a starring role opposite Charlize Theron in "The Tourist," which would have marked his first role after 2008's "Valkyrie." But whaddya know? Cruise passed on the film, and in came Jolie to play the lead female role, roping in Johnny Depp to take over Cruise's part.

As you can tell, we've been keeping a close eye on this project — an adaptation of a 2005 French thriller — watching as it orbited so many Hollywood stars. And with the film opening in theaters on Friday (December 10), we've compiled all of our information for another MTV News cheat sheet: everything you need to know about "The Tourist."

Making Travel Plans
The Jolie/Depp coupling took a little while to develop. After Cruise jumped ship in late 2008, Sam Worthington ("Avatar") was reportedly in line to star alongside Theron. It wasn't until a year later that Jolie's name surfaced as a replacement for Theron. Finally, in November '09, Depp came aboard the project. There was some speculation that directorial duties would go to "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" helmer Alfonso Cuaron, but the job ultimately went to "The Lives of Others" writer/director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck.

With the key pieces in place, filming kicked off in Paris early this year. We got our first look at Jolie in character in February. She plays a mysterious — and seriously alluring — woman who ropes Depp's innocent American tourist into the middle of a tussle with Interpol agents hunting for Angie's fugitive ex-flame.

A Family Vacation
Our first opportunity to chat with the cast came this summer, when we caught up with Paul Bettany, who plays one of the agents chasing after Jolie and Depp and who had nothing but kind words to say about his co-star.

"I sort of fell massively in love with Johnny Depp, who's just one of the sweetest, funniest human beings you can possibly imagine," he told us. "It's so nice when you meet one of those people who make that much f---ing cash, that you kind of go, 'I'm really glad it happened to you.' It's awesome."

Bettany wasn't the only one who met Depp for the first time on "Tourist." Turns out, Depp and Jolie had never met before, either.

"Through all the years that they've been king and queen of Hollywood, they had never actually physically met, so I was the first person to ever bring them together," von Donnersmarck told us. "They just got along so well from the first moment they met that I knew it was going to be a lot of fun making this film. I probably have hours worth of bloopers where they were just laughing because they had so much fun inventing stuff on the fly and letting their incredible creativity run free."

While relaxing in the French capital, talk with Depp turned to Jolie's rather raw sense of humor. "It can go in many directions," Depp revealed. "There's a degree of certainly sophomoric kind of humor, but that always leads up to some sort of, unfortunately, some degree of scatological kind of interpretation."

Back in the States this week, we met up again with the two stars during the New York premiere. "It was wonderful," Jolie said of working with Depp. "He's as wonderful as you expect him to be. He feels like he's of a different decade. He's extraordinarily creative and extraordinarily kind. There's no one else like him."

Angelina Hopes For Privacy

Angelina Jolie is hoping that her family will get more privacy as she gets older.

As one of the most photographed stars in the world, the Oscar-winning actress says she is baffled with all the attention that is bestowed on her, partner Brad Pitt and their six children.

"I don't find myself that interesting in that way - I just assume the older I get, the more it'll go away, the more private I'll become," she said on American TV programme, The Today Show.

Angelina, who stars in The Tourist opposite Johnny Depp, added: "But I feel like it happens to everybody. It's just that it's a weird time right now. There's just so much of all of that, for everybody. It's a new world."

Angelina Jolie Hits Back at Sarajevo Haters

Angelina Jolie paused from plugging her new film with Johnny Depp ( Tourist ) to hit back at critics of her upcoming directorial debut.

The Oscar winner lashed out at the Bosnian haters who have called her ignorant and sought to block her from shooting her film in the country.

"There's one person who has a gripe. The majority of the population, the cast, the president, have been extremely supportive," Jolie said in Paris.

A number of people were upset after hearing the still-untitled film's plot dealt with a Bosnian Muslim woman who falls in love with her Serbian soldier rapist.

The storyline from the film set during the 1990s war turned out to be a rumor, and a false one at that, but their protests were enough to spark controversy.

The outcry even prompted officials to cancel the star's film permit, citing insufficient paperwork, only to reissue in days later. But has she already moved on?

As a result, producers of Jolie's untitled drama kept shooting in Sarajevo to a minimum, instead opting to shoot a key scene in Budapest, Hungary.

Jolie defends the film, noting that 95 percent of those in the cast had lived through the war. She said she wanted to tell this story due to her anguish over the fact that the international community was so reticent to try and stop the war.

"I wanted to learn more about it and the people, the more I read and learned I was drawn to that part of the world," Jolie said. "I met artists from that part of the world and found they were extraordinary for what they'd gone through.

"I wanted to give them a platform."

The Mighty Heart star and U.N. goodwill ambassador previous said she would meet with some the Bosnian critics, but no date has been announced.

Britney Spears to Release Seventh Album in March 2011

On Thursday, it was confirmed on Twitter that Britney Spears' next album would be released in March of next year.

The singer wrote: "My fans mean the world to me & waking up to all of your wishes really made me smile, so here's something that I hope will make you smile... I'm almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT!"

Spears' manager Adam Leber had tweeted earlier in the day: "The announcement you've all been waiting for is coming today. Tell a friend..."

It was originally reported that the 29-year-old singer's seventh LP would be out in early 2011 during an interview with producer Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald in late October. He spoke fondly of Spears, telling , "She's such an icon, I don't want to let anyone down. But most importantly, I want to make good music."

The March 2011 release date comes just in time for the close of Sony Music's fiscal year. Although Jive Records, Spears' label home, has seen commercial success with Usher's latest album, Raymond V. Raymond, and Pink's Greatest Hits, sources say the company "is desperate for another big seller" to contribute to its bottom line.

Spears' last album, 2008's Circus, sold 1.7 million copies in the U.S.

Heidi Klum and Seal Scoop Up $13 Million Foreclosed Property

The 12,300-square-foot Mediterranean residence in Brentwood .

Heidi Klum and Seal are purchasing a stately eight-bedroom home in Brentwood that had been foreclosed on earlier this year. The asking price for the property -- $13.4 million.

The house, formerly owned by an investment banker, was placed on the market Oct. 15 after failing to sell at a June auction.

The 12,300-square-foot Mediterranean residence is situated in Brentwood Country Estates, a gated community of a dozen houses in Mandeville Canyon where the neighbors include Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.

The eight-bedroom home has a kitchen that includes a fireplace mantel imported from Scotland that dates to 1603. The formal dining room is from Paris’ famed Pierre Hotel, which the former owner purchased whole at auction and had shipped stateside. And the library fireplace is said to be from Napoleon’s farmhouse in France.

Klum and Seal’s property is under contract for an undisclosed amount and they are expected to close the deal as soon as Dec. 1.

While declining to discuss the buyer identities, Rebecca Ross, a Hilton & Hyland agent who had the listing, said that the house sold for “significantly more than the asking price” of $13.4 million.

“There were multiple buyers interested, so there was a bidding war," says Ross.

"Thanksgiving Is A Celebration Of Murder," Says Actress Angelina Jolie, Allegedly

Millions will delight in Thanksgiving festivities tomorrow. Angelina Jolie is not one of them, electing not to commemorate the genocide of Native Americans.

"Angelina Jolie absolutely hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans," a friend of the actress tells.

Valid point, but pumpkin pie just tastes so good ...

NO THANKS-GIVING: Angelina Jolie is not a fan!

"To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn't her style," the friend says. "[Jolie] doesn't want to teach her multi-cultural family how to celebrate a story of murder."

Not sure how many of us toast to murder at the dinner table on this day, but she prefers to think of herself as a citizen of the world, not just America.

Always extremely sensitive to suffering throughout the world, she's going to great lengths to make sure the Jolie-Pitt brood doesn't honor it here.

Clear the Road: Lindsay Lohan Regains License

Lindsay Lohan has regained the right to operate a motor vehicle. We are happy for her ... and scared bit for residents of Palm Springs, California.

The L.A. County Probation Department and officials at the Betty Ford clinic signed off this morning, so Lindsay can drive again. Special treatment?

Not so much. Officials allow this for people "at Lindsay's care and treatment level," though it's still odd, as her legal problems stem from driving.

SCARED? It's LiLo, we wouldn't blame you.

Meanwhile, Michael Lohan is so stoked about his daughter regaining her driver's license, dude gave her his own Mercedes Benz to tool around town in!

Not only is she planning on having Thanksgiving with dad, she's cruising around in the (very expensive) wheels MiLo lent her to prove his trust.

Michael dropped the convertible off Monday for her to drive as she pleases. How nice. We'd still keep a lengthy following distance ... but nice.

She is also attached to star opposite Ethan Hawke in The Numbers Station.
